The main goal of the project is the development of an integrated system for the identification, analysis and visualization of areas of increased risk of floods, droughts and other forms of water insecurity, with an emphasis on the differences between urban and rural environments. The project connects remote sensing methods, geodetic measurements, spatial statistics and cartographic interpretation in order to obtain a quality basis for decision-making in the management of water resources and adaptation to climate change.
